embership of the Council is opened to all Ministers of the Gospel, Churches, Fellowships, Evangelistic Organizations, Missions, Missionaries, Gospel Musicians, and Elders/Deacons in the Church.

The Council has three (3) categories of Membership with their status code as follows:

FIRST CATEGORYCORPORATE MEMBERSIPThis is where a Founder/Leader Joins the Council Together With the Church.
SECOND CATEGORYASSOCIATE MEMBERSIPThis is where a Founder/Leader Joins the Council Alone.
THIRD CATEGORYINDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIPThis is where all other Ministers and Christian Workers join the Council.

MEMBERSHIP PROCEDURE

All those willing to affiliate with the Council will have to fulfil the following:

  3. Upon reception of your application letter, the Credentials Board shall deliberate upon it and Membership Forms shall be sent to you for a fee.
  4. One shall then be called for interview after submitting the filled out Membership Forms.
  5. The Credentials Board shall prayerfully and critically assess all information gathered on an applicant and either endorse or disapprove of an applicant. The Credentials Board shall communicate their decision to the prospective member after some few days.
  6. When endorsed or approved, one will be required to write an acceptance letter and accordingly pay a stipulated membership fee as required.
  7. When the acceptance letter and membership fee are received, one then is given the right of fellowship by inducting him/her into the Council at the very next General Council Meeting.
OUR CREDENTIAL,ORDINATION AND CONSECRATION

he Council does organize Ministerial Credentials and Consecration Services which is recognized by our affiliate bodies.The Council considers worthy candidates for Holy Orders through Ordination regardless of their gender or sexual orientation.Thus, we believe in women consecration and leadership. All those needing Ordination and Consecration should kindly apply to the address below.



PRE-REQUISITE QUALIFICATION

  • Must be born-again.
  • Must have a distinct call to Ministry.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATION

  • Must be a Member of the Council (for a period of one year.)
  • Must have had a Formal Bible College Education.
  • Must participate in the Council’s School of Ordination

ORDINATION CREDENTIALS

Members are started from this point and are due for elevation to the highest point in the hierarchy as stipulated below, when all criteria and requirements set by the Council are met by the individual concerned.

  • Christian Worker License.
  • License Minister.
  • Reverend Ordained License Minister.

ELEVATION CREDENTIALS

  • Apostle Elect.
  • Senior Apostle.

CONSECRATION CREDENTIALS

  • Bishop Elect
  • The Very Rt. Reverend.

  2. Are you Ordained by a recognized accredited International Ministry Body?
  3. Do you need a good Organization to affiliate with?
  4. Do you need an Internationally recognized Ordination?
  5. Are you part of the World Council of Bishops?

GUIDELINES FOR THE PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT OF THE CLERGY - CODE OF ETHICS FOR CLERGY

Preamble: Serving God as an ordained clergy person in the International Council for Clergy is no responsibilities and standards of conduct.

The primary aims of the Guidelines are:


  1. Clergy will ensure that their conduct at all times reflects the fact that they are in the service of Jesus Christ.
  2. Clergy will not link the name of the International Council for Clergy with any commercial activities that may cause the ICC to be held in disrepute.
  3. Clergy will not use their position for personal gain or to exploit those they serve.
  4. Clergy will avoid acts of a sinful nature.
  5. Clergy will respectfully submit to the authority of the International Executive Presbytery of ICC.
  6. Clergy will seek to grow through regular prayer and study.
  7. Clergy will at all times seek the greatest good of those they serve. This includes referring people to appropriate place, when problem is beyond the professional competency of the clergy person.
  8. Clergy are to maintain the confidentiality of those they counsel and in serve in accordance with Scriptural principles with which the clergy person serves.
  9. Clergy are expected to faithfully honour their obligation to prayerfully and financially support the International Council For Clergy.
  10. Clergy must set the Good Shepherd always before them as the pattern of their calling.
  11. Clergy are to care for the poor, the needy, the sick, and all who are in trouble.
  12. Clergy must remember the greatness of the trust committed unto their charge that they cannot bear the weight of this ministry in their own strength, but only by the grace and power of God.
  13. Clergy are to be messengers, watchmen, and stewards of the Lord; which faith the Church is called upon to proclaim afresh in each generation.
  14. Clergy are to Teach, Admonish, Feed,Provide for the Lord’s family.
  15. Clergy are to lead God’s people in prayer and worship, serve them with joy and build them up in faith.
  16. Clergy are to call their hearers to repentance in Christ’s name absolve, and declare forgiveness of sins.
  17. Clergy are obliged to submit to and accept the discipline of the Council and give due respect to those in authority.
  18. Clergy will be diligent in prayer, in reading Holy Scripture and earnestly pray for the Holy Spirit..
  19. Clergy are required to strive to fashion their own life and that of their household according to the way of Christ.
  20. Clergy are to promote unity, peace and love among all Christian people.
